General Training Tips

We believe that the way to show your dog how to behave is through rewards, fun and patience. Whilst all of our listed trainers should be using kind reward based methods, their techniques may vary and all will have their preferred training aids. Some, may choose to use clickers to 'mark' correct behaviour, whistles to attract or direct the dog and treats/toys to motivate and reward him.

Having decided which method/trainer suits you best, it is now time to put this into practice. Please find below a number of step-by-step training information sheets which are available for you to print off and teach your dog. We have also included the training guides which accompany The Company of Animals training products, and that we hope you will find useful.
